The experimental "Vel" Art-Production Corporation Ltd. was founded in 1989 at the USSR Academy of creative work.
”Vel” company made its first steps as a workshop producing exclusive art goods of cast bronze using an ancient method of casting for smelting of models with hand embossing and wide application in the finishing of goods of natural stone, glass, non-ferrous and noble metals. The company also carried out restoration of bronze articles and production of goods, relating to the category of folk art crafts as well as bronze souvenirs.
In April, 1994, the enterprise was reorganized into "Vel" Art-Production Corporation Ltd. and started a new stage of expansion of production and the types of activity.
At present “Vel”company has transformed from a workshop to a multifield association and stands the competition with dignity, it is trying to be a "guardian of eternal values". Having worked on the domestic market for more than 10 years, the company established its own factories, foundries, art workshops, a network of saloon-shops "Russian Bronze" selling its own produce. And what is most important - the personnel of more than 600 highly professional persons.
